As of the 21st century, pre-employment background checks are now part and parcel of most companies’ hiring process. ifydcat Let’s be clear: employee background checks are a good idea. Even essential. However they are only effective if the employer is consistent and thorough in their administration of them. Otherwise there is really no point in screening employees at all. There is so much to gain from knowing exactly who your employees are, how they got to that particular point in their life and how honest they have been with you (the employer). Here, we will go over common loopholes in employee background check procedures and how the employer can avoid their pitfalls.
